FAQs
What is the difference between chemical and physical sunscreen?

Physical sunscreens feature ingredients like zinc oxide and titanium oxide that reflect and scatter UV rays. On deeper skin tones, these ingredients can cause a white cast. Chemical sunscreens, however work by absorb UV rays and release them as heat.

What does SPF 50+ PA++++ mean?

SPF stands for sun protection factor, and the 50+ means that it would take 50 times longer to burn your skin when sunscreen is applied versus no product used. SPF50+ means 98% of UVB rays (harmful rays that damage the skin) will be filtered out. The PA++++ rating means you are 16 times more protected from UVA rays (another type of harmful UV radiation) versus if you did not apply sunscreen.

Do I need to wear sunscreen when I'm indoors all day?

Even though you might be indoors for extended periods of time, being close to a window still allows UVA rays that contribute towards premature ageing to pass through. We recommend using sunscreen every day.
